About
The TSpatial application is a piece of software that I use to demonstrate some features of Oracle Spatial. I made this software as a companion to my disertation paper. The title of disertation paper is "Spatial databases - Oracle Spatial"; it presents spatial concepts in a general way and exemplifies them on Oracle Spatial. The companion application, TSpatial, is only a demonstration applicatian, written in Java and uses Oracle Spatial as spatial database. At this moment, maybe TSpatial dosn't runs properly, but I planned to redesign and modify it in the future (when I'll have more free time).

Installation
Because it is written in Java programming language, it needs a virtual machine for running. TSpatial was tested with Sun's JRE. You can get the last Sun's JDK from here. The environment variable JAVA_HOME must point to your JDK.
Also you must have installed and configured the Oracle Enterprise Database.
The host, port, instance name, username, password needed for connection
with Oracle server are specified in config.ini file located under installation directory.

Bugs
I think this software has a lot of bugs :( because it wasn't enough tested. If you use TSpatial and find some bugs drop me a mail with bug's descriptions. I don't promise that I'll fix the bugs, but, in the worst case, I will note the bug. If you find something usefull or you want some new features let me know.
